Philip Winter

Philip is an Entrepreneur in Residence with the DeepTech team

Philip is a startup founder and investor. He cut his teeth in Silicon Valley, leading hardware startup Nebia, acquired by Brondell nine years after he co-founded it. Nebia’s investors included Tim Cook (CEO of Apple), Eric Schmidt (former CEO of Google), and Y Combinator.

More recently, he led Supplant, a Cambridge biotech spin-out backed by Khosla, Coatue, and EQT, serving as interim CEO through its acquisition in 2025.

His expertise includes go-to-market strategy, commercialisation, fundraising, and product development.

In addition, he’s a general partner at Latitude Fund, which invests in early-stage companies coming out of Y Combinator, and was previously a deep tech investor at London-based Creator Fund.

He has an MBA from the University of Cambridge and a B.A. from UPenn (University of Pennsylvania, USA).
