Advent International is one of the world’s leading private equity firms with operations in 10 countries. During his tenure, the firm increased its assets under management from £200 million to £30 billion. Prior to Advent, Humphrey was at Trinity Capital Partners, a UK-focused, technology venture capital firm.

Humphrey is a chartered accountant, with a Physics degree from Cambridge University, an MBA from London Business School, and an MSc from London School of Economics.

Humphrey is a panel member of the Competition and Market Authority. He is a trustee of Sadler’s Wells, the What Works Centre for Homelessness Impact, Teach First, and the Institute for Research in Schools
