JP Morgan’s 2nd annual event exploring how university spin-outs can drive UK growth.
JP Morgan are hosting an afternoon of discussion, debate and thought leadership that brings together UK universities and their spin-outs with providers of capital of all types: Institutional investors including asset managers, hedge funds, VC & PE; and UHNW and angel investors.
18 June 2024 | 15.00 – 19.00
- One year on: The publication of the Independent Review of University Spin-out Companies
- The current environment for new venture fundraising and for spin-out fundraising?
- What are the most successful models and sticking points of spin-outs?
- How can JP Morgan help with all elements of the spin-out lifecycle: Cap table management, transaction banking, debt and equity capital raising, pre-exit personal planning for executives. And, what can be done in the next 12, 36 and 60-month periods to stimulate investment into the sector?
The event is targeted at universities with experience of commercialising their IP, and those who are planning to do so. We are also excited to welcome start-up companies ‘spinning out’ of University research departments, as well as investors of all types in this space.
