Our next seminar in CIC’s occasional seminar series will be led by Alex McCracken of Silicon Valley Bank, giving an inside view on the health and productivity of the global innovation economy.

Over breakfast in the Hauser Forum we will discuss how are valuations moving, where is funding coming from, is the IPO market open, what areas are currently particularly ‘hot’ and how does this all relate to growing businesses in Cambridge?

Based in London, Alex has spent the last nine years at Silicon Valley Bank providing a range of banking services and advice to high-growth technology companies in the UK. He’s also worked in venture capital investment at TTP and understands life from the entrepreneur’s perspective having built TISS, four products in fuel efficiency and security systems for vehicles. SVB has over 50,000 technology clients worldwide and offices in UK, US, Germany, Ireland, Israel and China.
