Cambridge Innovation Capital host Silicon Valley Bank for a breakfast seminar
On the morning of 11 June at the Babraham Research Campus, Nooman Haque of Silicon Valley Bank will provide an inside view on recent trends in the life sciences sector. Who is investing in the UK life sciences sector and why, what are these investors looking for, how to attract the perfect overseas investor, and how to structure an expansion into the US or Asia.
Nooman Haque is the Managing Director of Life Sciences and Healthcare at Silicon Valley Bank’s UK Branch. He supports early, growth-stage and established multinational businesses in all sectors of life sciences with all aspects of their business, beyond financing. He is actively involved within the sector, sitting on the BIA’s Finance and Tax Committee and is a frequent panelist, writer and spokesperson for the industry. Nooman joined Silicon Valley Bank from a venture capital firm in London and previously worked at a sovereign wealth fund in Saudi Arabia largely focused on healthcare. SVB has over 50,000 technology clients worldwide and offices in UK, US, Germany, Ireland, Israel and China.
