CIC’s Managing Partner, Andrew Williamson, has been in Riyadh, as part of Chancellor Rt Hon Rachel Reeves’s HM Treasury delegation to FII in Saudi Arabia.

Andrew attended the FII Institute’s 9th FII Conference, which convened some of the world’s most influential leaders to discuss unlocking new frontiers for growth and future prosperity.

A key topic of discussion for the delegation was the amazing investment opportunity in the Ox-Cam arc, as recently highlighted by Lord Patrick Vallance at the Innovate Cambridge Summit.

It was a privilege for CIC to be chosen to be a part of the Chancellor’s delegation, alongside some of the UK’s leading VC funds and finance leaders.

Saudi Arabia is one of the world’s most important trade and investment hubs, and its growing relationship with the UK will be mutually beneficial for future technological development.
